We are a family of 4 and reserved a king suite with a sofabed for 2 nights while in town for a family wedding; there were no rooms available with 2 double/queen beds. Upon arriving, we found that the "sofabed" only had a twin size mattress. Thankfully we were offered a rollaway bed, which would not physiclly fit in the room without blocking the doorway, so we had to move 2 pieces of furniture to accomodate it. The room was in poor condition: the carpet was dirty, there was obvious water damage along the wall adjacent to the bathroom, the caulking around the sinks needed to be replaced, there was a musty odor, the lights kept flickering, and aside from that the air conditioner worked only sporadically.....but worst of all, there were live cockroaches in the room. We found 3 of these unwelcome guests late a night after our kids were asleep. We checked out the following morning and were offered an apology and a $50 credit. We were very dissappointed with the hotel given the fact that we had booked the room well in advance for $125 per night (and that was the AAA discounted rate). The room needed renovation, was not a good value, and we left disgusted!
