  We've stayed at many holdiay inn express hotels. this is an "old" hotel with a "new" name. it looks like an old howard johnson hotel. ...

  We've stayed at many Holdiay Inn Express hotels. This is an "OLD" hotel with a "new" name. It looks like an old Howard Johnson hotel. We were only passing thru town, yet the beds were very uncomfortable. I think the beds have vintage 1980 matresses. We all had sore backs after 1 night. The rooms are dark. The floors were stained. The pool is very small. On a positive note, the continental breakfast is OK (but avoid the salty scrambled 'eggs'). The view is beautiful.

  We just recently had a little girl and this was our first major trip. The hotel was able to deliver a crib to the room. The room was very clean, even for my standards. Also in the morning they have a GREAT breakfast bar! Worth the extra money for this area

  We stay here on a regular basis and the staff is always accomodating. we enjoy the river view rooms. large open lobby and fireplace. nice breakfast choices.

• Pleasant surprise

  We were satisfied with the rates when we saw the room. however, ""continental breakfast"" included bacon & eggs! it probably saved us another $20.

  Very comfortable rooms. The many extras make the value of the stay a great deal. The full continental breakfast was fabulous and it was great to use the inernet for no additional charge. The room was very clean, view and balcony, great extra. The only down point was the room felt a little too small.
