Hotel was in a good location. Not a bad price but not great either. Free parking. Room was clean and nice. Front desk was great when we checked in, but I was a bit shocked the next morning when there was a different person on the desk who claimed travel agency didn't pay for the room. He told me I would have to pay and try to get the money back from Travele agency. Well, I worked in hotels for 10 years and knew better. He totally held his ground until I threatend to phone travel agency to sort this out. Suddenly he found the account. What a shock. What was really sad about this was that his name badge claimed he was the guest service manager. Your manager doesn't know how to charge to a travel agency. Pretty basic stuff.

We stayed in this hotel overnight on the first leg of a trip farther north, and because it was convenient to the Royal Botanical Gardens, which we wanted to tour. The accomodadtions were clean and well kept, and all service people were friendly and helpful. We had a nice dinner not far away, and the breakfast the hotel served was simple but adequate - "real" food" and not just cereals and pastry.
