09/14/2009Clean, quiet, two blocks from the green line. this is a nice place to use as a base for a tour of boston.

Was disappointed in the property. We had to change rooms because the television did't work, the light bulbs were burnt out. and never did get them changed. We had asked housekeeping twice to fix the problems and they were not the least bit helpful in getting the problems fixed. The second room was a bit better but the housekeeping left a bit to be desired. The rooms were not cleaned very well, didn't replenish the coffee, etc. Requested our be linin changed and that did not get done we were there for six nights. The cleaning standards were not good. We will not stay there again or recommend it to anyone. They picked up their contential breakfast early.

Would stay again. Close to Boston. Within walking distance of Museum of Science and Duck Tours. Easy to use transit (Greenline), again within walking distance. Easy to get to Faneuil Hall, Quincy Hall, etc. this way. Beds could have been a little bit more comfortable (plush), but overall good. Bathroom towels fluffy and full. Water pressure good. In-room microwave, mini fridge and coffee-maker very appreciated. Pleased with free breakfast, lots to choice from (eggs, bacon, cereal, bagels, etc, etc.). Excellent! Staff was courteous and friendly. Helpful with directions. Free internet access for guests (airlline check-in, etc. made easy). Not enough parking for all guests, so be aware you might have to park across the street at Liquor Store (they rent parking lot there at night). Target is fairly close for things needed or forgotten, and McDonald's and Burger King as well. Wish we could have had more time to explore.

We stayed here for five nights while attending our daughter's graduation from City Year Boston. Desk staff was very helpful after my son lost his wallet and called TSA to be sure we did not need ID as he is underage. Was also patient giving directions and advice for catching the Green line (the T) which was a short walk to the station. Breakfast was excellent, full and hot, definately more than your standard continental breakfast. Location is good with a full grocery store very close and liquor store too. The staff even loaned us a corkscrew for our wine. Well managed hotel.
