The Staff was very helpful and though I arrived a bit early, they accomidated us to a room. The room had some issues though, the bulbs in the lighing needed replaced, the coffee maker was not working properly and needed replaced and on the last night the toilet ran over. All was handled in a timely matter. Although they had recently renovated the Hotel, it still felt a bit outdated, a little peeled wallpaper here and there, things that are not overlooked by a Traveler. I really enjoy the breakfast buffet that they offer free of charge. The pool and hot tub was kept up and looked clean. All in All, a very good experience.

Despite the fact that the front desk couldn't have been less helpful or even nice, we stayed over the weekend (and the hotel was under construction which they failed to mention). We left something of value in the room, and called immediately. Long story short, they found the object, but it has now been two weeks since they said they sent it. After several calls, we still have no answer. And to make matters worse, the front desk doesn't understand how to operate their phones-transferring me to every other department but the one I asked---3 times in a row. I was told there is nothing they can do. I strongly recommend staying far away from this hotel, especially if you forget something important in your room.

We had booked a room in Waunakee, WI because they had a Country Inn Suites. We arrived and found the room to be unacceptable. We left the Country Inn Suites, not caring that we would be charged for the room. It was that bad, and $110. We traveled in to Madison. Ho Jo's was just down the street. Went in, inquired about a room, received standard customer service, and checked in. The room was nicer than I expected. The location was great and they had a breakfast buffet in the morning. The desk attendant, in the morning, was very nice and friendly. We had a very nice breakfast and checked out. Maybe considered standard in some books, but I found the stay to be more pleasant than other hotels I have stayed with.

I picked this hotel specifically because it had both room service and a restaurant so we could hole up in the room and relax. Instead, we immediately learned 1) meals were not served Sunday night (the person responsible for handling them was off-duty), 2) lunches were not available, and 3) dinner and breakfast had to be ordered during very narrow time windows. Being carless and unwilling to eat every meal at the Wendy's across the street, we instead spend hundreds of dollars on cabs and restaurants. So much for the cosy, room-service-catered getaway. My other complains suggest general poor maintenance: a room carpet that felt slimy against my feet, unpleasant -and ever-changing- smells in the hallways, a showerhead that screeched when the water is on full. Nothing that angered me like the food issues, but enough in total to recommend against this hotel.

The hotel was very noisy, slamming doors at midnight. We could hear people talking from our room on a Saturday night until 4 AM. Kids were runing in the hallways and there was a dog barking in the hotel.
THis was the noisest hotel we have ever stayed in and we were very unhappy with it as we had just driven for 8 hours and were tired.
