The AC did not work. I told them about this within 15 minutes of check-in. A guy came in and took off the cover and said that it needed replacing. Nothing else was done. The TV remote did not work either. Fortunately it cooled off enough at night that I was able to get some sleep, but the aging infrastructure of this hotel needs some work. They did take * off of my bill at check-out.

On check in, staff was a little too busy to get to me very quick. They found my reservation quick enough, but the info was incorrect. We got it straightened out, we got the complimentary meal ticket, which was good for 1 day of the 2 day stay. At check in, a person behind us was checking in with a pet. The parking lot was full of holes and ditches. The inside door to our room was open. The outside door to the room had a pair of shorts leaning up against it. The toilet made noise refilling every 3 minutes. There were signs pointing to ice machines that did not exist. The one that we finally found had plenty of issues that demanded attention. The whole atmosphere just seemed a little dingy. The pool is fair, as is the hot tub. The fitness center is 3 machines in good repair. The food at the comp breakfast was fair, and the ticket problem was corrected by a very nice lady running the buffet. Stay away from the orange juice, it is watered down. The milk and OJ were sitting in a buffet carrier that was made to hold iced foods. They were not iced, and were room temp. This was our first trip to Colorado, with us planning to spend a few years vacationing and exploring the state. We have no reason to stay in Pueblo again, as it's offers are good for a few days at best. I won't stay at this, or any other Clarion again. There are too many other choices to choose this one, nicer choices, that take care of their business, and don't allow pets. Even in Pueblo, you can find other, better choices at the same price.

Visited the Clarion for first time as the hotel I normally stay at when in Pueblo has risen their rates astronomically. The Clarion is a wonderful gem in Pueblo. Fully rennovated, this hotel seems to be brand new!! The staff were friendly and well informed. They even let me make copies and send a few faxes at no charge. The lounge was a welcome treat as I enjoy and after dinner drink and the setting was just great. I look forward to staying here again the next time i'm in Pueblo. Keep up the good work!!

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. When we arrived there were three women standing behind the check-in counter. They did not acknowledge us at all. two began eating Pizza and one finished here 2 minute long txt message before checking us in!! bad start!

    The rooms were...just okay....

We settled in (executive king) which was supposed to be a step up with refrigerator and microwave, etc, etc. It did NOT have either. I called the front desk kindly on the second day and said, that's not a bid deal, but I would like the price or regular king if i cannot have the ammentities of an Exec. King. They declined and brought up two old appliances from the 80's..

The absolute worst was the second night at 2:00am when there was a party giong on from all rooms around us. I understand partying is loud, hell, I love partying, but within reason.

We called after about 20 minutes of slamming doors and yelling. They said security would come up. The noise continued until 4:00am that morning. The kicker is that the next morning (still pretty fied up) we stoppe by the front desk to ask about the situation and the lady acted proud that they were MMA fighters who had been fighting all night and told us a little about it. Evidently they could care less about the noise.. or the customers...

Bottom line- it has potential. The pool and hut tub were very nice. The bar, location and staff drop this place 2 or 3 points in my opinion.

**Spend 20 extra bucks and save yourself a headache down the road..
