When we first arrived, the room had a clogged drain. We notified the front desk. Within 30 minutes the staff had corrected the problem. The room was very clean and comfortable. Despite having a family reunion and a group of teenagers staying there, it seemed like we were the only one's there. There was virtually no noise on our floor. The hotel is only a few blocks from the metro and several eateries. The hotel will shuttle you within a 3 mile radius, making it a really convenient place to stay if you do not want to rent a car. The staff was most friendly and helpful.

I stayed over the Christmas Holiday. We had some issues. The phones were not working which we didn't when we booked the room. It was a problem for us. We couldn't call our family or for room service or even get a wake up call. The restaurant was closed early in the evening when we wanted to eat - they said due to slow business. If we had know all this we would have stayed at one of the other hotels in the area. It was okay but next time I'll probably stay elsewhere since there are so many hotels here. We paid very little for the room which was the good thing.

I stayed with my family for a wedding. The hotel was great. They provide shuttle service to the church and then back again after the reception. We had fun in the bar when we got back. The rate was really good and seemed too low once you saw the hotel.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 21 days as I was visiting my step son at Walter Reed during recuperation from an injury in Iraq. This hotel made my husband and me feel welcome and cared for. Their shuttle took us to the hospital each morning and picked us up each afternoon. They could not have been nicer. The staff was great, hotel rooms nice to come home to. In a bad situation they made our being there to visit our son much easier. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

I had a very good experience at this hotel. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. I am a PC member so I like to stay in Crowne Plazas. They have free wireless which is very appreciated. I liked the hotel a lot.
