we just finished a 12-hour drive from IA before stopping at Rock Springs and we were tired and ready for a relaxing night for our drive to NV the next day so just a warning that this review is based on that situation. The hotel was just like the pictures in the website, nice and clean, and the people there were nice. but there were road construction everywhere, starting from the exit (off I-80) and also in Sunset drive, which made it hard to find the hotel and then at about 4 in the morning, the electricity went out for the rest of our stay there. I gave it an okay rating because as much as I like the hotel, the location was not the greatest at that time.

Overall the hotel accomidations were nice. The 3rd floor hallway is being remodeled...hopefully should be completed soon. Wingers resteraunt was fine for dinner but a bit too bar like for breakfast. Had the worst meal of my life at Cruel Jacks in town...pass this one up!.

We arrived around 10pm and found that our kids could still swim to settle down to a good nights rest on comfortable beds. Easy check in and check out. However, housekeeping was ready for us to leave before we were ready to check out (9am).

Had to stay because of road closer. room was costly at 189.00 for the night. it was the last room in town so we took it. room was great ...
Had to stay because of road closer. Room was costly at 189.00 for the night. It was the last room in town so we took it. Room was great and clean. Staff seemed stupid on morning shift and when we went to do laundry we had to run the dry cycle 3 times which made for some delays. Weners resturant was small dinners with bad food. Granted they were open late for travelers, but Mc Donalds would have been better.
