  We made a reservation through the Holiday Inn Priority Club Rewards phone number while sitting in the parking lot of the Mason City Holiday Inn (7:30 p.m.). They quoted us a rate and we told them when would check elsewhere and the person taking our call then quoted us a rate that was less, so it pays to call and make a reservation even if you are already at the hotel. Because they have a restaurant onsite, there is no free breakfast. This hotel is quite large and the building is older, however, the room we had was clean and up to date. The internet service worked and the front desk person was friendly.
