  I was a little scared about this place, reading some of the reviews just days before I arrived, but was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and accomodations at this place. Pros: Great location and access to highways; nice room accomodations (although the pillows were a little soft for me and the AC brought it down to FREEZER status); breakfast was good (eggs, pancakes, cereals); pool was nice and always full of folks. Cons: It did always seem a little damp in the room, but none of the wet carpet scenarios that I read about. Rooms that face inward to pool area are subject to noise and I had to keep the AC going to drown it out. All in all--a great deal for the great price I received.

  Spent the weekend in Kansas City at the Ramada Hotel. Good experience room rate was good considering how close the hotel is to the Country Club Plaza. Hotel pool is nice and the free cont. breakfast was very good.
