This hotel was recently renovated and looks great! The front desk greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. The rooms were awesome - huge king bed AND couch! Free hot breakfast in the morning - not cold pasteries either. Indoor and outdoor pool was very refreshing. Would definitely stay there again - worth the money!

A surprising gem.
01/22/2009Hotel was newly renovated, clean, quiet, excellent amenities...a bargain this close to dc. only thing less than excellent was internet speed...dsl...higher speed can be purchsed.

Security Risk - Several Thefts at Hotel

We would not recommend this hotel to travellers due to serious safety concerns. Our son and the 8th grade class from Williamston Middle School stayed at the Sheraton Four Points for a trip to Washington DC. Three of the kids had I- Pods/electronics and other valuables stolen from their rooms. The same housekeeping staff member cleaned all three rooms. This in it self is troubling, but the response of hotel staff was equally troubling.
My son prepared a written report at the request of the front desk staff before his group's departure. Our travel agent investigated the matter. We have tried to follow up with the hotel staff to no avial. They indicate they have not filed a police report, although we insisted that they do so. Now they claim to have lost my son's contemporaneous written report concerning the theft which was filed with the hotel front desk staff! Other parents are equally annoyed with the response to the breach of security by the hotel and staff.
We would not recommend this hotel to families, groups, or business travellers who travel with electronics or laptops. The hotel has not properly handled its security problem, notwithstanding our communications with hotel staff including the manager. Our travel agent indicates that the manager is not returning her calls. Our experience with the Sheraton Four Points has been a disappointment. -

Unclean

The fitness center is a joke none of the equipment works. We stayed for one week and could not get clean towels. The beds are horrible and the place smells funny. I would not stay here ever again. Our room had mold growing on the wall paper and the front desk gave us a hard time about a new room. The parking lot lights are turned off at night, and several of the downstairs glass windows and doors are broken, this place is unhealthy and unsafe.
