airport pickup delivered to wrong hotel,very poor communications, made reservations for two rooms but upon arrival only one had been reserved. desk person did a good job of getting the second room but it could have been a bad situation. original advertisement included brfst. upon arrival we found this was an added charge. Most of our problems seemed to be directly due to the travel agency connection, Would not use them again!

I visited this hotel with my teenage daughter. We had several destinations in the area, and this hotel seemed inconvenient to everything. Also, it is in the middle of an office park area, so there is nothing to do within walking distance. That would have been fine if we'd had a comfortable room to lounge in, but ours was tiny, cramped, and had no bathtub. It was a handicapped room, and every time we showered, water literally poured all over the bathroom floor. We had to use every towel to clean up, and the floor was still slippery and sloppy. When I asked about a room change, I was told the hotel was full, and I wondered if we'd been assigned the room due to the fact that we'd booked through a package deal. At the price we paid, it was still a splurge, but not nearly as nice as many 3 star hotels. Most of the people in this hotel were business travelers, and it seems well set up for that, but I'll never go back for "leisure". Certainly not as a relaxing getaway.

We just got back from a trip to the Twin Cities and an overnight stay at the Crowne Plaza. I really liked this hotel. The decor is very modern and that might turn some people off, but I thought it was cool. Everything was very sleek, very clean. I particularly liked the little baggie of sleep aids (eye mask, ear plugs, lavender linen spray and soothing cd). What a nice touch. However, I didn't need any of those things as it was very quiet. The bed was very, very comfortable and I slept like a log. One other thing that really helped was that we got a very good price on the room through an online travel webiste. So not only was it a very nice hotel, but the price was not much more than what we'd have paid for an economy hotel. We didn't use the pool or the exercise room (didn't have time) but they both looked very nice and in very good condition. Same for the business center. Our stay at Crowne Plaza was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
