Good water pressure. beds very comfortable. * Health inspector even checks water, can drink water use ice w/o worry! * Great beach, view of offshore islands, wonderful beach location! Beautiful! * Excellent pool, and view * Staff was very friendly and courteous * Happy hour 4-7pm 2 for one on all drinks for like 30 pesos * Free locking safe in room! * No hidden price charges at all! * Food, not exotic, but fair price and quality is very good. * Waiters eager to please! * Only minor thing, bring your own sunscreen, as it is way over priced in their little gift shop, all else within reason. * In house tour desk. * Great little coffe bar to have a cafe and watch the waves roll in. * I felt rejunvinated after 4 days there. * Close to other attractions, and a great restaurant across the street.

Hotel okay. You have to take a taxi to get to anything or take a long walk.Stayed at Playa Mazatlan last year and I would go back there again. There are more stores and places to eat closer.If you like to fish definitely go to Lake El Salto for at least a day trip. Ifish is a good agency. Offshore was great the marlin were thick. Mazatlan is a great place. This was my second trip and I'm planning to go back in December. Did see alot of police out with assault rifles but did not see or hear of any crime while there the first week of March, 2009

When we checkin I ask for an upgrade, $ extra per night give us an Ocean View and a large balcony, but not a larger room, the view alone was worth the money. The location was great, the beach was just perfect. The pool was nice. The food was not. Order Nachos with meat and we got really low quality food and waterdown drinks during happy hour. The inroom safe was a good feature for $2.00 a day. The housekeeper was great, she did a job beyond what was expected. ( dont forget to tip your housekeeper ).

For our first time to Mazatlan we couldnt have asked for a better expeience. The hotel is beautiful, the location is excellent, the service was friendly, courteous and prompt. On the downside, our beds were a little hard, and the pumbing was a little slow to drain. We felt like we recieved one on one attention and got to know some of the staff because it is a much smaller hotel. The activities coordinator was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very reasonably priced. All in all we had a wonderful time at the Holliday Inn.

I was alone in Mexico and needed a safe hotel. I was pleased with service, she included free breakfast buffets for every morning (3) The food was excellent. the staff was excellent, The pool and beach were beautiful! I'm going back as soon as I can and I'm taking my husband this time. I felt completely safe and I slept like a baby. Mazatlan is fantastic in the spring.
