The Inn at Norton had issues when it was a Holiday Inn (one reason HI pulled the franchise). It really is a mess now. I was forced to stay there because other hotels were booked. The hotel is 80 -90% filled construction workers who are working on the new power plant. It has become a weekly rate type of hotel. House keeping came by my door banging at 7:30 am ready to clean. They assume everyone is construction and leave the room at 6:00 am. Although there are card readers at each entrance, the doors don't lock. There is no security beyond the chain lock on the room door. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that the water pressure in the shower is great and there was plenty of hot water.

This hotel is next door to a Super 8, where I stayed on my last trip to Norton. I wanted to stay at The Inn because of the pool. So I paid more than last time to stay at a hotel with a pool. It says indoor and outdoor pool on the description, but it is actually the same pool. It was closed. 80 degrees outside, 4 days until May, and the freaking pool is still closed for the winter. I thought the purpose of an indoor pool was that it would be open all year! Nope! The rooms are the same as the Super 8 next door, the tv is bigger at the Super 8, so stay there! This place is not worth the extra money!
