Front Desk and staff were friendly. Three day stay; had to change to three different rooms, the first room 1st floor had a broken tv, corroded bath tub fixtures, a broken air conditioner and ants in room. Moved to a different room (also on 1st floor next day: Air conditioner poor, staff replaced with rebuilt conditioner which leaked and soaked room carpet, microwave was rusty, found ants in our bed; Manager moved us to room on 4th floor for last day. Finally struck gold - a working air conditioner, put the price paid was loss of half of room space and downgrade from a kingsize to a double bed. Happy with clean, cool, ant-free room! but not worth price paid from headaches, hot room, corrosion, ants, plus $***per night. Employees were courteous, but vacation was ruined by condition of rooms. Had believed Comfort Inn held a standard of quality; I will never return to this or any Comfort Inn.

The people that called their selfs managers, were very rude!! I would never stay there again and don't reccommened this place for NOBODY, I wouldn't even let my pet stay there. They say they just renavated, i don't see it everything is old and fallen apart... It just looks good on the outside, but don't let looks fool you. An one more thing the elevator went down 4 times and we were only there for 2 days!! They need to upgrade bad

Our air conditioner broke within an hour of our arrival, and our balcony door would not close. We waited days for cleaning services and fresh towels, but the worst part of our stay was battling all throughout our last night there with the gigantic cockroaches in our room. I called down and complained that night, only to be told that although the pests looked like roaches, they were just a type of 'waterbug' native to the area. Nothing to worry about. After finding, killing, and examining a few more of them that night, I was sure they were giant roaches. We complained to another manager during checkout and were again assured that they were not roaches but 'Palmetto bugs' or 'waterbugs.' Still unhappy about sharing our room with any large bugs, we were not properly reimbursed. The worst part is that upon arriving home, we looked up the 'Palmetto' bugs and found that it is just another name for a large species of the American cockroach. Considering this information, I am still dumbfounded at the Clarion management staff's complete lack of respect for its paying guests, not to mention its dishonesty. If a hotel full of mutant roaches and a sneaky lying management staff sounds like a place you would enjoy, by all means, book your room today!!
