I would stay again, the pool is great!! Kids loved it! The food was very poor, we said something but nothing was done about it. No breakfast, that's usual these days. No internet connections, only ice machine was located in lobby. We would stay just for the pool. The desk clerks were all very friendly, got a refrig and microwave to room quickly. The cleaning staff was good and fast. Beds were a little broken down, probably need new ones.

These are the reasons why you should not stay in this hotel.1. They charge a $25.00 pet fee, and this is outrageous compared to other hotels around the U.S.2. They charged a $50.00 incidental fee which we had to request be voided when we checked out of the hotel.3. The room was dirty, it smelled like smoke, the towels were dirty, the pillows were yellow, the window was broken, there was no deadbolt, and there was a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector (dangerous!).4. There were several scary men hanging around parking lot when we had to retrieve ice and luggage from across the parking lot.5. When we asked to speak to the manager the staff was deceptive, rude, and unhelpful. I strongly suggest not to stay at this hotel as two women traveling we felt unsafe, upset, and unattended. There have to be better options and this Hotel should be ashamed of itself! We chose this hotel based on the reviews they obviously did not speak the truth.

Price was right for such a short notice. The room was clean. Hotel was easy to find. Kids enjoyed the pool. Salsa in the bar/lounge was tasty. Breakfast took a little too long, could have offered a better price for being guests at the hotel. Employees in the restaraunt were friendly. Inquired about taking the shuttle, was told where we wanted to go was within range for the shuttle. It was getting close to the cut off time to use the shuttle and was told that the shuttle was broken down. Personally I think that they just didn't want to take us, since it was close to quitting time for the driver. Also, I think the staff needs to improve on their Customer Service. Not only at the hotel, but throughout town. The skiing was awesome, but we experienced the same rudeness at the ski resort as well.

I had a room I didn't like (because it was wheel chair accessible). They happily gave me another room when I requested it. All the people were friendly and helpful. Well worth the price!

Like most of Taos, this place was over priced concidering what you DON'T get. The pool closed way too early, 9pm. Breakfast not included. We were told of a discounted breakfast buffet. There was none. Specified for a non- smoking room but it reaked of smoke and they didn't have another non-smoking room available. Bed were poor quality, woke up sore. Aside from all that, it wasn't bad. Curtious staff. Still, not worth the price. Won't stay there again.
