Stayed at the Hotel in October. I didn't expect much but was surprised how nice the lobby and rooms were. I didn't know they had renovated. Very clean hotel, older hotel, but clean. Staff was very helpful with my travel needs. This is a great hotel for those of you traveling with animal. Not many hotel allow dogs. It was nice to find one that did. Pool and Spa were both not in service, would have liked to use the Spa. Will definetly stay here again.

Upon arrival at this Hotel I was informed by the front desk manager that there were no more rooms with 2 queen beds, which is what I had reserved. I was given a "Suite" with a king bed and a hide-a-bed. There were 4 people in my party, one of which has had back surgery so the hide-a-bed was a disaster!! My stay was booked for 2 nights so the next morning I went down to let the manager know the hide-a-bed was not comfortable and this was not the room I had reserved and could we move to a room with 2 beds? I was informed the hotel was booked for the weekend and there were no more rooms available. The manager did offer a "roll-away" bed instead which was more comfortable but still not as good as a real bed. I would not stay at this hotel again since they clearly gave up the room I had reserved to others since we had a late arrival. The whole point of making a reservation is so you will have a room waiting for you no matter how late your arrival. I would not stay here again.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Renton, WA despite 2 bad reviews and were very pleased and surprised to find that this hotel has been recently renovated and our visit was very pleasant. The lobby area is clean and spacious. Our room was small, but adequate. There is a 24/7 shuttle service to the airport that really came in handy for our early morning flight back east. From the hotel, it is an easy to drive to Seattle as well as an easy drive to Tacoma.
