  This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in a long time. The front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. I had to call ahead of time to let them know we would be checking in late and the staff member was very friendly and reassured me that our room would be waiting for us. I am a ""clean freak"" and our room was clean and smelled clean. The room next to us was very loud when we came down the hall, but we could not hear them through the wall once we were in our room. We had breakfast in the restaurant there and it was a delicious buffet. I would definitely stay there again. It was a good value for the money.

  I was surprised (but pleased) to find this hotel near Columbia. The other places I've stayed had awful service and were run of the mill bed boxes. This Holiday Inn is very convenient, but more important the people were friendly and the rooms were fresh, clean and modern. I liked the ipod clock radios, the door bells at each room (!) and excellent lighting at the desk. (Bed was super comfortable, too.) I will stay there again.

  Air conditioner leaked and carpet was soaked by window. beds uncomfortable. location was good and staff were efficient and friendly.
