Not bad. There are few hotel choices in Alpena and I think the price reflects it, I definately would not pay this much for a room of average quality in a place with more competition. The staff are pleasant and helpful. I have stayed here a few times. The rooms that open into the Holidome have a damp feel and the chlorine smell from the pool came into the room. I had a better experience with an updstairs room away from the pool/holidome area and would book in that area again if given the choice. It seemed clean enough and the staff are courteous and helpful.

We have family in Alpena, and choose the comfort of this hotel. It's clean the help is very kind, and the beds and pillows are comfortable! Join the priority club and enjoy coffee and food and drink savings at the same location. We stay about four weekends a year!

This hotel had all the neccessary amenities and a few extra. A decent restaurant is there also. Airport shuttle service is available, but if you want to see anything, rent a car. The hotel was very clean and appeared to be recently remodeled.
