  I don't usually write reviews, but the experience was so good I figured I would. The hotel is very close down town Fort Myers, lot's of restaurants and bars around. The staff was amazing.

  Don't let the title fool you, this hotel is nowhere near the historic district. It is very close to the sign that points you to the historic district. My first room they gave me reeked of smoke, even thought it was a non-smoking room. I changed rooms, and everything was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The bar is way overpriced, but the food wasn't too bad. It's a decent hotel, but overpriced given its location.

  The Holiday Inn was a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, modern, comfortable. The pool area was relaxing and clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. Price was reasonable. And the perk was a Dunkin Donuts in lot next to parking for hotel. Great experience.

  We stayed based on the reviews and they were right on! We really liked the room and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was nice nd clean and the business center was well equipped. There is a Dunkin Donuts right next door for breakfast. We would stay again.
