I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn for two nights. I was very happy with my experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and provided everything as advertised. I am a young woman that was traveling alone so safety is very important to me. I felt completely safe at this location. The breakfast was a great bonus to trip. Overall I would sa that I was pretty happy with my experience.

Booked with Travel online. Drove from Louisiana, and when I got there, my room was already taken. Waited for about 30 minutes for the front desk to fix the problem, and when the guy decided to "upgrade" me, he sent me to a room with no bedding or towels. When I went to turn the television on it burned up, filling my room with smoke. (Seriously folks, you can't make this kind of stuff up!) Finally, after about an hour, I was moved for a 2nd time to a handicapped room with only a stand-up shower. The front desk told me that I would not be chareg for the room, but as we all know, when you book with an online travel agency they cannot reimburse you.

Clean, friendly, great breakfast buffet! There was a problem with noisy neighbors and they took care of it quickly. No elevator so if you stay on an upper level prepare to lug your stuff. Having a fridge and microwave was a nice bonus. The room was very comfortable, nothing fancy but clean (one day the cleaning people did not service it completely which annoyed me). Overall I was very happy and would definitely stay there again!

After a mad scramble to and from a wedding with six month old in tow, it was a delight to find that the "complimentary breakfast" was a far cry from the "do-it-yourself" offerings of most other chains. Not only were the choices numerous, it also included healthy fare like oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. The dining room was nicely appointed with tablecloths and WAITSTAFF! Being served on our last day of driving was a real boost. The hotel is easy to find at a major intersection, with multiple choices nearby for dining or shopping. The adjacent Winn Dixie proved indispensable for cough syrup, since it was walking distance and open 24 hrs. We were already assigned a ground-floor room, which made hauling all the baby paraphrenalia much easier. I will definitely stay here every time my travel plans take me through Dothan.

Dependable stop
11/23/2006We make it a habit to stop here on the way to florida. the location is on our route and the rooms are clean and quiet. service is always good.
