Room was fantastic. Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. View of the Ohio River couldn't be beat. I was there for July 4th, sat on my bed and watched the fireworks being shot up just past the floodwall. Best seat in town!! I WILL stay at this hotel again, and cannot wait to do so. Join Priority Club and get half price breakfast. I went home for 6 nights in July, stayed at this Holiday Inn, and just had a great experience. Pullman Square right next door provided lots of shopping and people watching opportunities. Cool Marshall themed restaurant across the street.

This is an older hotel and while the staff was very friendly and courteous, the rooms themselves had some issues. The sheets on the beds had a few holes and the skiritng around the bed was stained. There were stains on the carpet and the shower wall had a crack in it. The breakfast was descent but I would not stay here again.

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about, our stay was fine. We didn't have a reservation so we had to take a "smoking" room, but no noticeable smell. Room was clean and in good shape, except for a couple of spots where some idiots must have pulled up a small amount of carpet. The room had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker, plus a computer. We had our own laptop and got a good WIFI signal. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The Hotel was full, which should tell you something there, and parking would get tough in the evening. Didn't use the pool or weight room, nor did we eat at the Hotel. I'm glad I decided to give Holiday Inn a try even after reading the reviews.

Room was very dirty, could not check in til after 4pm due to lack of rooms even though I had a reservation. The room door was broken/ half off hinges, so I had to slam door shut every time, and they could not switch rooms for me. If you need to have a wake up call, or set your room alarm for the morning, don't waste your time, the fire alarm will wake you at 5:30am, and at 6:00am and again at 6:30am
The beds were really hard, and I was uncomfortable sleeping under the sheets - YUK!!! I actually slept on top of the sheets all night.
I checked out the next morning and stayed at another, what I consider a "lesser quality chain" for 1/2 the price and had a good stay there.
I travel a lot, and I normally do not write reviews, but I was compelled to do so on this hotel. If I were you, I would look elsewhere closely before booking here.
I think at one time, this could have been a very nice hotel, but currently it needs a major uplift!!!!!
I travel to huntington a lot, and I will never stay here again, EVER! -

The staff is friendly, but the hotel stinks. The bed sheets were rough and scratchy, the food in the restaurant edible but way below my expectations. Only one person working as waitress in restaurant, and she was responsible for room service, too. Loose tile in the bathroom, threadbare chair in the living area, no desk. They promise a computer in every room, but I couldn't find one. Patches in carpet. No desk for work. Burn marks on the furniture. Tiny pool. Nice exercise area. Only gave me facial soap both days, out of bath size bars. Crappy cable. Looks like they are trying to cut costs everywhere. I'd never stay there again.
