This was an extremely pleasant stay. We did not book on line, but walked in to the front desk as the hotel was close to what we came to Maryland for. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The entire staff of the hotel was the friendliest that I have ever experienced! The room was clean, the hallways clean, the breakfast area spotless! The breakfast was outstanding and well attended to. We experienced a small problem with a fridger in our room, and notified the front desk. They immediately started looking for another room for us. We did not wish to move, nor did we really need the fridge and told them so. They thanked us for letting them know about the fridge and within two hours were in the room replacing the fridge! The location is perfect for NAS Patuxent river, it is right across the street from gate 1. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in this area!

12/03/2008Accomodations were very pleasant and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. however, the hotel raised our evening rate from that obtained online.this surprise was mostly irritating rather than punitive.
