  There weren't many options in Nevada and we were stopping late so we went to the cheapest of the overpriced hotels. Don't know what the appeal is to this city to justify high prices (other than there is a lot of miles between exits with hotels) but everything was priced high. The staff was very friendly but the room was icky, including the bathroom. The 'breakfast' was yucky weak coffee and a packaged muffin and some old cereal. Wish we would have paid a little more and got a decent room somewhere else.

  My family and I travel through Winnemucca at least 3 times a year. We have stayed at a few of the hotels in Winnemucca and the Days Inn is by far the best one. The service is SO friendly-they will bend over backwards for you-even when you show up in the middle of the night. The rooms are HUGE and very clean and you even get a great cupon book for the Red Lion Casino. I reccommend this to everyone I talk to. My hat is off to this staff.
