  Stayed at Clarion while visiting friend who lives in town. I am overworked and constantly stressed out and was looking forward to getting some R&R with my friend which is exactly what I got and more. The room was clean and comfortable. I am a very light/sensitive sleeper but the room was pretty quiet and the bed was very nice...so surprisingly nice that I even asked for the manufacturer name so I could get one at home. The staff was very nice as well. Although I didn't expect much when I first headed to Bakersfield, what I got was a pleasant, relaxing weekend.
