I stayed at th Laquinta in Mission bay for 12 nights and couldn't of been more satisfied for the price compared to other hotels.. The room was recently renovated and had two queen size beds. It had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, A/C unit and Television and was very clean. It also has a pool, but I never used it. Local calls are free, breakfast is included which was pretty good, waffles, cereal, boils eggs, bagels, toast, coffee, tea, milk, juice, fresh apples every day. They had a small gym there which I used. It had treadmill, and two other pieces of equipment along with a naultalis univeral which was convenient. Parking is included and it's not far from the beach or other amenities. Hotel staff was very helpful. They even had washers and dryers to do ur laundry which cost $* a load, The only thing I wasn't so pleased with is the wireless internet conection. at least 40% of the time I couldn't get online or I was disconnected. other then that, the hotel was great. This is my second stay at this motel in Carlsbad. I will definitely stay there again in the future. The motel is very clean and room service is excellent. The free continental breakfast saves you the time of leaving motel early to pay for breakfast. Free internet works flawlessly. I just wish the pool was bigger, but thats no biggie.

Perfect location close to freeway and about 5 minute drive from Legoland. Staff very friendly and used good judgement to give our familly adjoining rooms altho we booked at separate times and did not request same. Rooms large enough and clean; beds nice and firm and w/4 pillows each; free daily newspapers; great continental breakfast w/cook-your-own belgian waffles; bagels and toast; muffins; hard boiled eggs; bananas & apples; several varieties cereals (hot and cold); juice, coffee, and milk.

The room ok, bathroom was small, the carpet was VERY DIRTY, my sons socks were black after walking the on the carpet, we had a problem with the a/c ( there is a reset button on the cord) but at 2 in the morning you dont think about things like that. There is alot of restaurants nearby, recomend claim jumpers very good.. The breakfest buffet was very simple, but that was good for us dont eat alot in the morning. Over all the hotel is ok could use a crapet cleaning, but still fine, i do think they charge to much though..

We were pleasantly surprised at the facilities. Nice location, room VERY clean, nice breakfast. very hospitable front desk, helpful. Location was very accessible to Camp Pendleton, and easy access for daily walks on the beach. All around very pleasant stay, and we would definately stay here again. Great value for the money. Only 30 minutes from San Diego.
