This hotel is in an okay location - easy to get to from the freeway. The man at the desk is nice. He speaks clear English and is very helpful. His wife, on the other hand, is not only unfriendly, but I couldn't understand a word out of her mouth. On the phone was terrible and she had to hand the phone to someone else. In person she wasn't much better. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, smells like wet dead rats. It's an older hotel and it's quite stinky. I had a pet room (which it's nice that they have that). I asked for no smoking, and it was definitely a smoking room. The towels were stained, the mattress cover had huge nasty stains on them. Everything was "sanitary," it just was old and used. They do have a microwave and a refrigerator, and the room is nice sized. Also, the parking lot is safe. I had my car and a uHaul with everything I own, and I felt fine about it outside.
