We got a king suite, and used the pull-out bed in the living room for the kids. The room was nice, clean, spacious, and functional. Only complaints were that the coffee maker had coffee grounds in the water section (making tea taste off), and no microwave which we had been expecting.

The hilltop hotel was full of Thanksgiving families. Staff were great from bellman to the maids. Front desk courteous and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean and spacious, well decorated, great huge TV. There was a refrigerator too! I understand the suites are even nicer....pay the extra. Ask for a higher floor and town view (great with night lights) T-Day dinner at hotel was booked, but food passing from buffet line to tables looked great! There was a gingerbread house/train display in the lobby - and we all loved it - quite large. Lounge is beautiful overlooking town. Restaurant had same view. Food was okay - a bit pricey for quality. Service was exceptional however. Their cafe was buffet and you had to go through the small casino (Bucky's). Didn't eat there. Plenty of places in town...very conveniently located.

Let me start with the two very small negatives. There were left overs in the fridge from the people who stayed the night before, and there is construction in the lobby. Neither of which were a big deal at all. Now the positives. This was a business trip on which my family got to tag along. That means while I was out working, they were lounging in the room and by the pool. My kids loved the pool. The room was excellent for the price. We stayed in a "King Suite", which actually has 2 seperate rooms with double doors that closed in between. There was a very comfortable king sized bed in the bedroom, and a pull out sofa bed for the kids in the living room. Very nicely tiled bathroom, and dressing area in between. Service was excellent. When we arrived, the pullout couch had no linens, housekeeping brought them up right away and insisted on making the bed themselves. If that were not enough, around 3:00 am, my daughter got sick, and didn't make it out of bed. House keeping was once again on the spot in minutes with fresh linens, air freshener, and even offered to clean the mess. Hotel is very conveniently located near dining and shopping. Not only would I stay there again, but I am heading back there for business next week, and have already made my reservations.
