I have been to the Royal Lahaina 3 times. The hotel is very clean with many activities. There is a quarter mile beach that is basically used by the hotel patrons. Not many people on that beach which makes it nice and close to private. Although the hotel is 26 miles from the airport, there are many modes of transportation to and from the hotel. Their local sanck store was being brmodeled while I was there but should be up and runing now. All activies are accessable from the ?Royal Lahaina. The breakfast buffet is wonderful in the hotel diningroom and they serve 3 meals pe day. The luau is at the next building and has a huge buffet. the hotel also has 2 swimming pools and a bar off the big pool. In the evening they have easy music at the bar accompanied by one of theh nicest hula girls you would ever want ot meet.

We stayed for 11 nights at the Royal Lahaina Resort. Loved our room, loved the view, loved the grounds. The beach was private, the Luau food was average but the entertainment was worth the price. We ate af Basil Tomato the food was delicious. Not a big deal but we did need hooks or racks in the bathroom/sink area for hanging bathing suits and hand towels. We found it amusing that the maid sometimes turned the bed down and at other times completely made the bed (not a big deal). The bedding was top quality, the bed comfortable I liked the fact that the air conditioning turned off when the slider was opened. We enjoyed sleeping with the sliding door opened. The parking lot was conveniently located and the staff tried to keep the Luau guests in the back parking lot (thank you). We enjoyed the convenience of the ice cream / coffee shop. We will definitely stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort again.

I will be back! I fact I am taking my husband in January! The kalua pork nachos at the bar are fantastic! The rooms are beautifully appointed and had everything I needed. The beach is free of crowds and goes on and on. I adore the Royal Lahaina.

we had a garden view.. looking out your balcony (we were on the fifth floor) you could see the beautiful ocean. the room was spacious, the bed was king size very comfortable my husband actually said he would love to take the bed and pillows home with us..small refrigerator, safe, our room cleaned daily and at first when we got there our room was really warm. they sent a technician up to our room and adjusted our air conditioner and we actually had to turn the air up, that's how cool it got... the resort was awesome at night they would light the tiki torches and hawaiian dancers. we would go out to watch it nightly if we were there.. the staff at the royal lahaina were fantastic always smiling and helpful. the best luau we have ever been too.. My husband and i highly reccomend staying at the royal lahaina.. we would give it 5 ***** thank you travel online you made our stay and our friends stay the best we've ever had.. sincerely, kelly russell

We decided to stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort for three out of our five nights in Maui. After checking out of this hotel and getting to our second hotel in Wailea my new wife and I new that we had made a mistake by not choosing to stay at the Royal Lahaina for the whole duration of our honeymoon. This place was great, the room was top notch and the service was wonderful. I would recommend this place to any budget wise traveler looking to get the most for your buck.
