Our room was given away at 6pm!!! Which left the hotel completely booked, and we had to find another hotel. We stayed at the Hampton there in Chambersburg, and that was a wonderful room with excellent service. We obviously never saw the inside of the Super8 room, so it might have been a nice stay, just make sure you confirm your reservation before 6pm!!! And don't take his word for what rooms are available in town - I wonder if he didn't have some conncetion with the "hotel down the road".

The room was spacious and clean. The ceiling was about 10 feet which made the room feel more like home. The cable was better than average. The bed was a bit worn out. I felt as if I was rolling toward the middle of the mattress. The breakfast was nothing special, but I've eaten worse.
I would be willing to stay there again. -

The staff here is fair, bordering on rude (with one exception: a young woman named, I think, X.) As an example, I was alone one morning in the breakfast room, and I went to change the channel on the TV when a voice behind me scolded me: "You're not allowed to change the channel!" It was one of the staff (Y). There was no sign of any sort indicating that the channel could not be changed by guests. At one point I asked an older woman at the front desk if she could give me directions to a restaurant for which they had brochures in the lobby. She did not know, but offered me the house phone so I could call them and find out myself. Not much initiative there.
The continental breakfast is marginal at best: waffles, white bread and plain bagels, hard-boiled eggs, two types of cereal, and weak coffee. That's it, no doughnuts, muffins, etc.
The property is clean.
I will not use this hotel again. -

10/01/2007Stayed one night on business. checked all the normal items to make sure the room was satisfactory. bed, trash, facilities.....had to get up at 4 am opened shower curtain ...
stayed one night on business. checked all the normal items to make sure the room was satisfactory. bed, trash, facilities.....had to get up at 4 am opened shower curtain and there was so much black mold on the showerhead that you couldn't see the holes where the water comes out. Wouldn't even think of bathing there. It would have been safer to go to a puddle in the parking lot.

the hotel itself was alright, but the service was awful. the maid didn't speak english and only came and cleaned the room about 1 out of 5 days. i would have to call down to the front desk and ask for clean towels and for the garbage to be taken out. we won't be making a return visit here...ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
