  This was a good relaxing weekend and this hotel was a big part of that. If I had a complaint it would be that the spa was closed, but I wasn't planning on using it anyway.

  My trip to the Fairfield Inn in Independence, MO was very pleasant. We were greeted by the manager with a smile and she did everything she could to help us find our way to visit my newborn great-grandson in Mercy Children's Hospital. I had directions from the internet, but they sounded complicated so she called to find out exactly how to get there and it was very easy for two older women to navigate. She told us what time the stores opened and was also very helpful when we needed something at breakfast that wasn't there.

  When booking this hotel i wondered if it was close enough to walk to independence center mall and other area shopping-it is. it is also convenient to chiefs/royals ...

  When booking this hotel I wondered if it was close enough to walk to Independence Center Mall and other area shopping-it is. It is also convenient to Chiefs/Royals stadiums. The hotel was clean, nice beds, very nice staff. We stayed in a double queen, and the only inconvenience to my family was the fact that the vanity was inside the bathroom and the room itself was on the small side. Other than that, it was a great stay.
