This hotel was a breath of fresh air after our last hotel stay off the expressway the night before. The Comfort Suites had freshly laid carpet and the room was clean! The beds were very comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a pull out sleeper sofa for my daughter to have her own bed. Having the couch and coffee table makes a big difference in a hotel room. Really strong water pressure in the shower, if you like that. The breakfast was great -- eggs, bacon, make your own waffles w/ a choice of sugar-free syrup, cereals, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, english muffins, toast, juices, all types of milks -- WOW! You'll need to pay extra $3 per day for a parking pass except on Sundays. Right in the middle of the historic district with quaint shops and restaurants. Sounds do carry from room to room, so if you get a bunch of loud people in the hall you will hear it. I suggest bringing ear plugs to ANY hotel. This was a superb choice for us. LOVED IT.

Being located directly on the main street in Carlisle offers guests the best of 2 worlds. The surrounding areas with real farmers markets and shope plus the stores, restaurants, and shops right in the downtown area. The food in the hotel restaurant is very good and reasonable. You have the front row seating for all the goings on right there on the main street.
