Drove into Elko, and chose the Comfort Inn at random for a one-night stay. The price, just walking in on an available night was $ The hotel isfine. It has an indoor pool, which is great if you have kids like us who live to swim. And the included breakfast is convenient. The place was clean and quiet. The front desk did a good job. I found the bathroom a little cramped. The breakfast had the basics for a continental breakfast - breads, juice, cereal, fruit. They also had hard boiled eggs and waffles. It met all of our needs. There was a staff person in the breakfast area all the time to restock, clean, and assist. Again, the staff did a great job. If I want to be picky (this is a review after all), the pool had a lot of chlorine in it. It was very noticeable that it had a heavy chlorine load. Nothing dangerous, but much higher than we usually see. And there were a number of vehicles in the parking lot with trailers, parked across 4 or 5 space each. This made parking a little more challenging. They should encourage those guests to park in the far back area.
