  Very clean rooms, great amenities, friendly staff. It only took us 25 minutes to get to downtown Chicago from here. Night manager even went out of her way to accomodate us with secure banking needs. We vacationed with our 3 children and they were welcomed here. Highly recommended.

  For the price, the hotel room was wonderful. It was clean and there was plenty of room for five adults to relax comfortably and not fumble over each other or each other's luggage. However, the staff was not as pleasant. Upon check - in we were never greeted or welcomed to the hotel. It was like having to walk up in a lunch line and asking ""please sir may I have some more"". Five of us checked in and were only given 1 complimentary cookie. The lady who checked us in mumbled through what I'm assuming was an explanation of what would be charged to my credit card. At no point was the * charge for a daily newspaper explained. Granted, it is only * but had I not read the fine print we would have been charged and not know why. No one offered help w/our luggage. After the first night, they never brought enough towels for the 5 of us and we we called down the first time we were told they didn't have any more towels. How does a hotel not have any more towels? The second time we called we were told we would have to go down and get them ourselves.

  Really enjoyed the experience. the hotel was clean, the staff courteous, the rooms were very nice, and the location was wonderful. quite pleased overall.
