I was not expecting high class service for the amount we were paying, but I did expect a bit of service and to have a clean room. Our first night I slipped into bed to feel a large cold, wet spot on my sheets. After jumping from the bed and flipping back the blankets I smelled the sheets and realized that a large amount of cleaning solution must have been spilled on the bed while the room was being cleaned. We had smelled the cleaning products when we'd first arrived and already been put off by the strong smell, to discover them in my bed was even more of a put off. There were several spiders and ants in our bathroom, our phone's buttons were sticking and wouldn't dial at first (until we got them "unstuck"), the breakfast left a lot to be desired and the morning front desk service was pretty slow (for checking out). One redeeming quality was the speed with which the front desk receptionist brought new sheets on the first night. We were in the room farthest away from her, but she came in less than 5 minutes. Again, I wasn't expecting high class comforts, but the few essentials like a clean, dry bed are non-negotiable for me. I think I would have been able to put up with the other deficiencies if the bed hadn't been an issue, but that just made everything else stand out that much more.

Look I don't want to oversell this place but I've stayed there several times over the past couple of years and quite simply put: It's great. Very clean, great access, great for fishing, hunting outdoorsy type activities. Breakfasts are good and close to all the amenities ie restaurants, movies supermarkets etc and for the price you can't beat it.

Look I don't want to oversell this place but I've stayed there several times over the past couple of years and quite simply put: It's great. Very clean, great access, great for fishing, hunting outdoorsy type activities. Breakfasts are good and close to all the amenities ie restaurants, movies supermarkets etc and for the price you can't beat it.

This was our first stay at Richland Day's Inn and I was very pleased. Yes, we were bargain-hunting, and we had our Collie and Golden Retriever with us, so we needed a clean, pleasant room where pets were allowed. It was exactly that! The young gentleman at the front desk was very professional and helpful. I just wish we could have gotten a queen bed. This is one of the older hotels in Richland, but if you need a clean, affordable place to stay and don't need a huge room, it's a fine place. I rated it a 4 within its price range.
