  I frequently utilize this hotel because of the low cost. I generally stay for 1 - 2 nights.
  
  The hotel is located a very short walking distance from Downtown Silver Spring as well as the Metro.
  
  It is not the type of hotel that I would book for family vacation/travel.

  This was our second time staying at this location. We feel that it is a good place to stay. The motel was very reasonable and very clean. The Ramada is located only minutes away from the Walter Reed Hospital. Since we were there visiting our son it made this a wonderful place to stay.
  
  The motel may not be in the best part of town but we never felt uncomfortable. The Ramada made sure that we felt very comfortable. The was a locked door that need a pass to get to the elevators, to a security guard spending the evening in the lobby.
  
  All staff was very friendly and seen to our needs. We would highly recommend this motel to friends and family. It was a very nice stay.

  I drove from New Hampshire to Silver Spring to visit a friend. It was a long drive, I was tired and in need of a shower. I went to the Ramada first because it was the first hotel I came across. The guy at the counter was very rude, hiding behind the glass the whole time. I told him I would like a room because I had just been driving and he told me it wasn't his fault, that they didn't allow anyone to check in until after 3, and it was only 11am. Got in my car and drove to the Courtyard... amazing hotel, let me check in at 11! Even the housekeepers were nice!!

  I took my 89 year old nana to this hotel. It was dirty. I checked in because Nana was tired and I wanted to get her to bed. HEAVENS! We got our key and the clerk behind the glass enclosure said, sorry the elevator does not work. I felt like crying because nana was having to walk up to the 4th floor. H e did not tell us it was out. I will never plan to stay at a Ramada again. This place needs to be reported to the headquarters.

  I would not stay here again. the lobby and hallways are filthy. the check-in desk was glassed-in, which did not make me feel very safe. no free paper ...

  I would not stay here again. The lobby and hallways are filthy. The check-in desk was glassed-in, which did not make me feel very safe. No free paper in the morning. No continental breakfast as promised. And when I went to check out, the rate they tried to charge me was higher than quoted. I would not recommend this hotel.
