We would like to thank the staff at the Sleep Inn for making us feel you were celebrating our new Marine with all the info on family day and graduation etc. The patriotic room keys were a nice touch. Great staff, they deserve a hand, OORAH!

Not a clean surface in this motel. Dirty, dirty, dirty capets in the rooms and halls. Everything is broken, shower doors, faucets, TV remote. House keeping took the towels, but didn't replace the soap, towels or cups. This staff was nice, but ineffective. Stayed for two days during family day at Parris Island. So with all the traffic in and out it was very loud in the halls and adjacent rooms. NOT worth a night.

I cannot stress enough...this place is just nasty. I cannot understand some of the positive reviews. This is one of two places I've stayed in my whole life that I felt dirty just having stayed there. We had two rooms on the 1st floor, one on the front side and one on the back (backs up to a retention area for building runoff (was dry during stay) and probably marsh land 25-30 yards from the building past a line of trees). Anyways, it did not matter, both rooms smelled of mildew. The carpets were damp to wet. The shower area had mold and mildew on the ceilings and general grunge at its base. In our room, the light fixture over the shower stall was barely hanging in...it had no screws to keep the fixture in place. Cleanliness is obviously not a priority...we found pieces of litter throughout the room, a hair clip left on the vanity and several hairs on the bathroom floor, making me wonder if the rooms are cleaned at all. Breakfast looked just as bad...area was not as clean as most hotel breakfast areas are. I took one look at the bananas, that were ripe enough to make banana bread, and went somewhere else to eat. Consider yourself warned.

The Sleep Inn staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, plus it had a small fridge and microwave. It's only about 7 miles from Parris Island, and the front desk clerk handed us a sheet with directions to the depot and a listing of all the Family Day/Graduation activites when we checked-in. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! (Although unless we graduate another Marine, I don't think we'll be in the area again.) Do be advised that the room we stayed in didn't have a bathtub, only a stall shower, but that wasn't an issue for us. I don't know if any of the other rooms had tubs or not.
