I made a reservation for a one-night stay at this hotel. Before booking with the hotel, I made certain that the hotel accepted pets by viewing the amenities offered. When I went to check in after an all-day's drive, the assistant manager, checked his computer and told me that although I had a reservation, he did not have a room available for me and my pet. He told me to sit on the couch in the lobby and wait while he helped other customers until he could figure out a solution to the problem. After 15 minutes, I tried again, but he refused to honor the reservation or to make alternative arrangements for my stay, telling me to go elsewhere. The entire experience was humiliating to me and a waste of time. I will never stay at a Quality Inn and Suites in the future.

It was HOT in Portland when we were there. There was not air conditioning in the lobby. The air conditioner in our room did not work, so they switched rooms for us. The new room's air conditioner worked better, but still not great. The room was clean and comfortable. It looks like the hotel has done some refurbishing, but has some mechanical issues to take care of. We usually don't stay in Gresham, but needed to for a business transaction. It is not the best area of Portland to stay. The cost of the hotel was great compared to others in the immediate area, the staff was willing to help and treated guests with care.

Internet verrrry finicky LOL Only works in certain rooms other than lobby and business room. Not on floor one at all. Staff verrry friendly and accommadating Clean but alittle older 3 floors-first floor is in the basement no elevators. Overall good value Easy access freeway and food near by.
