This last Sat night we stayed at this hotel & visited the new casino in Anderson.What a nice hotel ! For the money i think it was one of the cleanest,well kept hotels we've ever stayed in. We will definitly stay here again and recomend it to our friends.

This hotel had the best reviews of Anderson Hotels I could find hence my decision to stay here. I paid over $$ including tax and this hotel is not worth more than $$. I would risk the other cheaper facilities they can't be any worse. I would not pay $$ to stay here again.. 1. At check in the front desk was unmanned a nearby staffer seemed more interested in opening a package than acknowledging us. 2. Room was spacious though the chair was visibly dirty. Overall room OK. 3. Towels are in need of replacement. Started turning yellow, supposed to be white. 4. Bathroom was a disaster unfortunately I found this out too late to request room change. The bathtub was clogged and filled up as I showered. Had to use straw to unclog. 5. Their continental is nothing to write home about and is cleared promptly at ten regardless of whether you are standing right there. 6. Staff is unfriendly never look up to acknowledge customers passing in lobby, never smile or offer any kind of greeting. 7. Last but not least I was woken up at 8:30 by the cleaning lady so that she can come in and clean?? Check out is at 12:00. We got a sarcastic 'Sorry' when we informed her we were still sleeping.

Upon arriving in the very spartan room, the first thing that struck me was the size of the bed. Most hotels offer 2 Queen beds. This hotel has only double beds. This was not much of a problem. What WAS a problem was that my 'non-smoking' room smelled of old smoke, and had cigarette burns on the comforter. The beds were also quite hard and uncomfortable. Additionally, the floor had not been vacuumed recently, and a half-full soda can was left on the floor next to one of the beds. I've stayed in hotels for far less money and gotten a much better, cleaner room that what I found here. There are much better hotels in the same city block as this one for a comparable price.
