I made my selection before reading the reviews and was concerned. I had a wonderful stay. I called a day ahead to confirm my reservation. I arrived late and the same girl I confirmed my reservation with the day before checked me in. The room was great, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice and the location could not have been any better. All the comforts of home. The room rate was terrific. I will be travelling back to Davenport and this is where I will stay.

The other reviews on here caused me to be very hesitant. I stayed at the Baymont in Davenport for two nights while attending a business conference at ECC. My room was very nice and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was nice with a waffle maker. I was very impressed with my stay and all for *per night. Either new management has taken over or the other reviewers on this site are willfully malicious or impossible to please.

My family and i were on a vacation, and we wanted a place to sleep. when we walked in we were greeted by the lovely scent of cigars. the staff were rude and were more interested in their cell phones than us. the room we thought had green walls, but it was mold. the sheets had not been cleaned in a very long time. when we walking into the bathroom, someone had left a rotton muffin on the counter, and some rodents and bugs of various sorts were enjoying it. there was also vomit in the sink, and on the floor. the toilet had not been flushed in a long time, there were many......items in it. when the toliet was flushed the "items" leaked out from a crack in the toliet and onto the floor. after adding to the vomit in the sink, my children and i decided to (try) to sleep. the bed had bugs in it! we were so disgusted that we left immediately. do not go to this hotel!
p.s. if u read all of this. i should inform u that this is 1000000000% fake fake fake.....but if u didn't this hotel lost some customers. -

We were traveling across country and stopped over for the bed and hot shower. Wouldn't stay there for a "vacation", or even extended business travel. However, the price was right and it was decent enough for a place to simply stay for the night and grab a muffin at the complimentary continental breakfast and get back on the road.
