Horrible service from day 1. Check-in and check-out took more than 1 hour each!! We booked several rooms and when we checked out they mixed our bar and restaurant service. Took another hour to sort it out. Parking is free, however the obligatory valet is #$22.00MX, they will not let you park your own car in their parking lot...so parking is not really free. Rooms were sub-standard, bill for local calls, no free internet access, etc. For the price we paid we could have received all this included and much better service.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everyone was polite and professional. There was not one time that when the staff saw you in the hallway, lobby or restaurant that they did not say good morning or hello. The managers were VERY attentive, remembered our name and greeted us at every possible opportunity. Overall this hotel exceeded m y expectations. I would give this hotel the highest rating possible. I would definitely recommend it to friends, family and even strangers who are planning a trip to Monterrey.

i woud recomend anyhone who hasn't been to monterrey to go, especially if you live in texas. it probally is safer to fly, but monterrey is very secure. i never had a problem with anyone in mexico. as long as you don't drive at much it is awesome. use cabs when you can they are cheap and fairly honest. the food is great in monterrey, and the quality of the city is on par with american cities. this particular hotel is near the barrio antiguo. it is the old city full of upscale bars that anyone can afford. a 20 minute drive south and you can rent 4 wheelers and motorcycles and ride into a beutiful mountain. the mexicans are very friendly here, the staff and fieasta americana are very friendly and helpful and most speak english. if you go to mexico, you really can't go wrong with the price at fieast americana
