  Hotel was clean, the room very spacious for a family of 4, good hot breakfast, nice pool. Location is ideal for Tigers Game downtown and the Henry Ford. The staff was friendly and had maps and directions to the local attractions. There is a big shopping center just across the highway. A great stay.

  I was reading reviews online, trying to find a nice hotel to stay at in the Detroit area. The reviews for Holiday Inn Express Suites Allen Park were mostly favorable and the photos looked nice, so I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The hotel was very nice and the rooms were too. I had a great mattress (very comfy) and I was THRILLED with the pillows. There were 4 on each bed and they weren't those skinny little things most hotels provide. I had a fantastic night's sleep. There were restaurants and stores fairly close. We didn't wake up in time for the Continental Breakfast, but I'm sure it would have been good. Needless to say, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

  The decor in the hotel was very old fashioned, with modern ammenities of course. There are chandeliers, carved woodwork, a fireplace in the lobby area and other items that really fit the historical theme of the local attractions (Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village). The pool and jacuzzi area is real nice. The rooms were clean and everything worked well. the continnental breakfast that is offered is very good, lots of different things to choose from. The staff was friendly. All around a comfortable experience.

  This hotel was very easy to find, was close to Henry Ford Museum, and is very clean! Our only complaint is that the continental breakfast that was included with our stay was definatly not what we expected. The pre-made omlets were cold, the milk was warm, and there was absolutly no variety. There definatly needs improvement on the breakfast portion
