My wife and i have stayed at the resort several times each time we come back the price has went up tremendously.The rooms were always clean wich is a plus but not worth that kind of money.We stayed a week on our honeymoon and returned the following year for a family vacation this year is our ten year anniversary and planed to return but the prices are outrageous so we will have to make other plans.

We were happy we choose this resort for our family vacation. The area was beautiful and the resort was situated to really enjoy it. We were able to take our two young children to Dockside, a great family restaurant that had a 'Gooey' dessert which we went back for several times. When my husband and I decided to have a date night we were able to put the kids in the VIK program where they had their own babysitter and were able to swim and watch movies. We ate at the Beachouse on the lake with great seafood and wine. I would highly recommend this resort for families, it was accommodating for all of us and made our trip that much better.

Several girlfriends and I booked a room at The Coeur d?Alene Resort after reading about the Spa in a magazine. After arriving, check in was hassle free, and everyone was really helpful. Room service was quick and friendly. When we got to the spa we all received warm robes and sandals. I had a hot stone massage that was amazing. Each of my girlfriends and I had pedicures, where we were able to all sit together and have wine brought to us while enjoying a view of the lake. We even ordered dessert right there! The Spa itself was gorgeous, and designed around the unique area. It was totally relaxing and we all had a great time.

Upon arrival, staff at check in were very customer service oriented. Our room wasn't ready, however, they advised it wouldn't be long and would call us. When we asked about activities and dinner reservations, they were extremely helpful. They made dinner reservations for us a the Beverly Restaurant and even asked if it was a special occasion. Upon checking it, we were very disappointed at the room location. I had specifically requested not to be by an elevator and we were. However, the room was quiet and we didn't notice any elevator or quest noise. The disappointment came with the sofa and desk chair located in the room. The sofa looked filthy...appeared to have blood on it and not cleaned for a long time. The chair seat could also have been cleaner. When I asked for a different roomor an upgrade at our expense, I was told they were booked and unless I took a mountainview room (we had a lake view), we had to keep the room. They did agree to send someone up to steam clean the sofa. Unfortunately, the steam cleaning left an order and the sofa was wet and unusable. No other compensation was forthcoming.

For a high-priced room, the quality was marginal at best. The room was very small, the air conditioning was broken, with few room amenities. The North Wing, which we stayed in was not well-kept and did not appear to have been renovated in over 20 years, but still cost over $* per night. The newer tower seemed nice, but extremely expensive. The area is beautiful, but for a supposed ""world-class resort,"" we would have expected better.
