The bed was the smallest queen I have ever slept on. I think it was probably a double, and the ""queen size"" ad was misleading. Only 3 wall sockets worked and this was a big hassle. the wireless internet worked about half the time. the room was clean but old....the towels were bare-thread qualtiy and the shower was not up to standards....I would have thought more of Wyndham.....the bed was very lumpy and hard at the same time and the pillows were non-existant...

For the past three summers we have vacationed a week at this hotel. The first summer we stayed in the Peregrin units which were awesome. The next year we stayed in the Elk Run units which were even better. This summer, we were assigned the Ptarmigan B units. All of the B units are 396 sq. ft. with a small deck (2ft. x 6 ft). As we sat on the deck we had a view of only the bushes planted in front of the deck (they were high). We asked for another room and were told they would do what they could but they were pretty booked and it would cost us an extra fee which we were more than willing to pay. We stayed the week and as we went on our daily walk we saw many vacant units but were never accommodated. That was the biggest disappointment of all. Our advice would be to make sure you are satisfied with your room before you pay. This is the most we have ever paid and the worst accommodations we have had at this resort.

We stayed in a really cute 1 bedroom condo that had a full kitchen totally stocked. Grocery is close by so would have been easy to buy groceries and cook at the condo. There's an indoor hot tub for each building (4 units in each building) but no one else was staying in ours so we had it all to ourselves which was nice. The room it is in has windows all around it that can be opened with a nice mountain view so it was romantic. Our unit was clean and seemed newer. The couch had a rip in it which was kind of tacky but otherwise it was nice. Bathroom was new and very clean but the shower is small and the showerhead sucked. Onsite there is an indoor pool, tennis courts, gym, even a little putting green. They had yoga, pilates, and other workout classes you can attend if you're staying at the resort. Overall a nice place, really comfortable and so quiet out there you feel like you're in the country, well, a really suburban looking country! Be warned, it is an "ownership resort". We didn't want to attend anything, even though they tried to give us gifts to do so, we had to say no about 3 times but after that they left us alone about it.
