  This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever SEEN! Three strikes, and although our trip was prepaid - we were outta there after just one night! Strike #1 - There were insects in the room. Now, I have lived in Athens before, and I know if you leave the door open, you can get some bugs, but there were too many to completely disregard them. Unfortunately, we decided to overlook them, and spend the night Strike #2 - While showering the next day, I noticed the bottom foot-and-a-half of the shower curtain was covered in a slimy pink film. Now, once again, having lived down there, I know that often the mold is pink. When I complained, the manager said the pink stuff is the chemical they spray on the shower. I asked, why only down there? I was told, 'oh, we only spray the bottom part of the curtain - so obviously the majority of the curtain just stays dirty and they don't believe in wiping off she shower curtain either. Oh yeah - I had to get the manager a Strike #3 - AND THIS IS THE BIGGIE - after this gross shower, Travel website will be getting one heck of a letter - and pictures! - from me shortly.
