Nice personnel; professional appearance and manners; my room was comfortable and clean. Large screen TV - didn't like the set up for finding free channels -- too involved. Just wanted to find CBS so I could watch a particular program. Only complaint is that they have changed from full breakfast bar to free continental breakfast with hot foods available at a price. The last time I stayed there you could make waffles, etc. Also, no warning of what time the breakfast bar closed and I almost missed breakfast.

From what I saw that is available in Columbia, SC if you are traveling there for a graduation from Ft. Jackson, stay at the Hyatt. Not only was the the only hotel that offered any kind of breakfast, but it is very modern in decor, clean, quite and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Plus this is only about * a week more than anyother place to stay and worth every penny. This provides easy access to anywhere in Columbia yet is so close to so many shops and restaurants.

This hotel was exceptional. It was like new and very, very well appointed. I have stayed at two Hyatt Place Hotels and they were both homeruns. The only downside is that it was a little out of the way of downtown Columbia.
