  We stayed at the ormonde hotel may 13-16. the staff was not friendly, but the rooms were spacious and the food at the restaurant was good. skip the irish ...

  We stayed at the Ormonde hotel May 13-16. The staff was not friendly, but the rooms were spacious and the food at the restaurant was good. Skip the Irish breakfast and have toast and tea. The bus station is around the corner from the hotel and takes you to Dublin. There is a train station in Killkenny, but it is not walking distance to the hotel. The hotel has has a pool and a lot of parking. have your ticket validated. The hotel is walking distance to the castle and to a big shopping area.
