During my recent stay at QI & S, I found the hotel to be in disrepair and in dire need of major renovations, both inside and out. The rooms were dingy, smelly and mildewy. Carpets, curtains, wall paper throughout was very old and worn. The hotel was not secure, as anyone from the outside had access to side and back entrances to the hotel without the need of a key. This is my first negative experience with a QI & S, and I would never stay at this particular one again. They really should shut it down and bring it up to a level that would better reflect it's name. Until then, they are grossly overcharging people for their stay. In closing, I really feel as though my family and I are due a full refund, but I doubt that would ever happen.

The motel is old, the interior halls look nice but our room was old and not updated from the 70's. Ceiling tiles were dirty and fallin in, the carpet torn and the bedspreed looked like you would see in a Brady bunch re-run! They do not have high speed internet even though when I called they said they did. They do have ethernet hook-ups, but no cords are available. Guess I should carry one, but I haven't had to for years.
Not up to the Quality Inn standards we are a custom to seeing. Next time in Lumberton, we will look elsewhere. The Motel 6 is cleaner and nicer. -

We had only one problem upon arrival... the AC in the room was not working properly. The front desk staff quickly moved us to another room and everything else was great! The hallways could use a good vacuuming or air freshing (smelled stale), but otherwise the hotel was clean and very nice.
