I stayed at the Indian Head Resort in September, 2009. It was a very relaxing experience. Just driving up to it, you can tell this is a unique property. The staff is friendly and willing to answer all of your questions. The rooms are clean and comfortable and no expense was spared with the quality of the linens. This is a place to go if you want to relax, take a paddleboat ride across the lake, and maybe even play some golf nearby, yet it is a short drive away from Boston and Southern NH where I was doing business at the time. I would love to stay here again!

Friendly staff and great views. Supper of chicken parm tasted like boiled chicken breast with plenty of fat. Hard (old) pasta. must have been sitting all day. No cold water in the morning. Both faucets had hot water! What a novel idea. Breakfast menu listed some great sounding breakfasts. Went to breakfast and was told restaurant was closed but they were offering a Continental breakfast. We had to go to McDonalds. We chose this hotel because it had a full service restaurant and the on line menu looked great. Will not go there again.

All was very good. Food excellent. Shuttle bus ride to bicycle trail was a nice service. Loved the clown for children's entertainment. This was our first visit and we will definately be back. Our son was sad that we had to leave.

As part of the ""Stargazers"" group, I've been going to IndianHead for our bi-annual ""psychic"" weekends for over 15 years. The accomodations are comfortable and convenient, but the staff makes it a ""homecoming""! Whether I come alone, or with my friends, I don't need to worry about anything--it's all taken care of. I wouldn't need to leave the resort all weekend, if it weren't for the ""lure"" of the outlets. For me, it's the perfect get-away--nice, comfortable room, meals (I'd want to eat there, even if it wasn't part of ""the package""), pool, spa, lounge, psychic readings, and shop till I drop!

Our family stopped at the Indian Head Resort for a 3 day getaway. The check in went very smooth and the front desk staff were helpful and informative. We upgraded to the meal plan as our 2 kids got to stay & eat free with my wife and I taking the meal plan. When we got to our room, had a nice view of the lake in the back, our kids took one look at the large screen HDTV and declared this to be the best place we had ever stayed at. We went down to the pool for a quick swim before dinner and discovered that the outdoor pool was still open - in fact it stays open all year. It was a beautiful crisp fall afternoon and it was great to soak in an ourdoor pool and hot tub while admiring the wonderful NH foliage. On to dinner, food was very good, service was fast and friendly and the kids like ordering off their very own kids menu. There was entertainment in the lounge that sounded pretty good, but the kids couldn't wait to get back to that TV and so, being tired from our trip up we all went back to the room and just kicked back and watched a movie . Next morning we started our day with a great buffet breakfast and then headed out for sightseeing, trip to an apple orchard and some shopping in Tilton, the resort had a coupon book for the outlet stores and we found some good bargains. Back to the resort for another good dinner and evening of watching that HDTV! Same routine the following day, the weather was perfect, great sightseeing and relaxing in the room - we hated to leave and will be back again.
