If staying by the airport is not a problem for you, then this is a great place to stay. I did not hear the airplanes inside of the hotel. Rate is economical. Hotel is short drive to Chicago area (20-25mins), Six Flags Great America (42mins). Customer service was excellent. The clerks gave me a real smile, and was very friendly, and professional. Shopping areas are a few miles down the street, which offers more restuarants choices. If you don't mind paying a toll-road fee (0.80 most toll fee/ stop), driving was good, getting to hotel. It was faster than driving through downtown Chicago. I would recommend to friends, and family.

The Baymont Inn & Suites would have been better if there would have been accurate description of what was available. It is listed with a fitness and business center which do not exist. Copies cost 25 cents and you can't even use the copier yourself. The continental breakfast includes stale coffee and two types of muffins. The rooms were clean. The water pressure in the shower was extremely poor and the beds were very firm. The staff was helpful and offered wake up calls.

Though this hotel is a little out of the way, it was not a problem to get downtown thanks to the helpful staff. They have an airport shuttle that runs every 45 minutes, but basically works by request. We had no trouble getting a ride to the airport so that we could take the blue line train downtown. And on our return trip, we simply called the hotel, arranged a pick up time, they told us where to wait, and they were there promptly. You save a ton of money on parking when visiting downtown, because the El Train only costs $2. A great way to stay on a budget.

Motel was clean, staff was helpful. If you are a light sleeper you may be bothered by jets - not a problem for me. Shuttle to ORD was very handy - from there I caught the CTA to Rosemont for a one block walk to Convention Center. Visitor pass for CTA very reasonable and you can go anywhere. Not much for eating in area of motel so easiest to find a place before returning to motel. I will definitely stay again if I go back to Chicago (for the convention or otherwise).
